Working with charities that help children learn, focus, and thrive
Why we chose these partners — and why it matters.
Dear Olive Friend,
At The Olive Oil Guy, we believe food businesses don’t exist in a vacuum. What we source, who we work with, and where we direct our energy all have real-world consequences.
This season, we’re proud to be working with two Lebanese charities doing deeply meaningful work for children — supporting access to education, care, and the tools needed to grow with confidence.
📚 Teach A Child Lebanon

Teach A Child Lebanon works to remove financial barriers that prevent children from staying in school.
Their work goes beyond tuition fees — covering books, supplies, and essential resources so that education remains possible even in times of economic instability. For many families, this support is the difference between a child continuing their education or being forced to step away from it.
Our partnership helps channel funds directly toward keeping children learning, consistent, and supported — without adding complexity or stigma to the process.
🧠 Focus Fund Lebanon

Focus Fund Lebanon supports children facing social, emotional, behavioral, and learning challenges — areas that are often overlooked, underfunded, or misunderstood.
Their mission is to make specialised care available, affordable, and accessible, ensuring children receive the support they need to navigate school, relationships, and daily life with dignity.
By working with Focus Fund Lebanon, we help fund care pathways that are proactive rather than reactive — supporting long-term wellbeing, not just short-term fixes.
How we work with our charity partners
Rather than one-off donations, we choose partnerships that are built into how we operate. Specific campaigns and community initiatives allow a portion of our revenue to be directed toward these organisations in a transparent, measurable way.
This approach ensures that support is ongoing, intentional, and aligned with real needs on the ground — not driven by trends or performative gestures.
Why this reflects our values
As a Certified B Corporation, The Olive Oil Guy is built on the belief that business should be a force for good. That means taking responsibility not just for what we sell, but for the impact our business creates.
From fair-sourced olives to long-term supplier relationships, and from thoughtful packaging to community partnerships like these, we try to make decisions that hold up beyond the spreadsheet.
Olive oil has always been about more than food — it’s about community, care, and connection.
With gratitude,
Mazen
